Impressive ride for Cadel Evans, today, as he showed PANCHE! to win stage 1 into Saint Vallier!
His daring stage victory makes him a hot contender, I believe, for the Dauphine and points him in the right direction for the Tour. I would think his sinus troubles are over as he moves into second overall, one second behind Bradley Wiggins.
Unfortunate for Samuel Sanchez, falling heavily into the stage. He did finish ...in pain. Here's the video...
